Synapse Carers Information and Support Session – February

We hold regular Carers Information and Support Sessions for carers of people with brain injury.

These sessions are hosted at the Synapse Parramatta Office, and live streamed to hubs in Gosford, Port Macquarie and Dubbo. They are also live streamed and recorded via YouTube for carers to watch at home.

Ambiguous Loss with Sharon Flanagan

When you become a carer for a person with brain injury, it is not uncommon to experience a grief reaction; grief for the loss of your shared future. Join us as Sharon talks about ambiguous loss and the unique challenges faced by carers grieving for their loved one who has changed after sustaining a brain injury. Sharon will draw on her long professional history as a neuropsychologist working with individuals and families impacted by brain injury in many NSW hospitals, universities and government bodies.

Monday 24th February 2020

Hosted at the Synapse Parramatta Office and live streamed to hubs in Gosford, Port Macquarie and Dubbo and via Synapse’s YouTube Channel to watch at home. Please contact Lauren Bannerman for more information on 1800 673 074.
