Reconnections – self-advocacy information session

Join us for this special event where we will be joined by Michael Hampton, Community Voice Manager at Synapse. Michael is going to talk about what self-advocacy is, what people’s rights are and what they can do if they aren’t happy with something.

Michael has worked with many people with brain injury over his years at Synapse and will share with us how you can learn to advocate (or stand up) for yourself. He will also talk about where to go for help if you need it.

While we are not able to meet in person at the moment with physical distancing measures still in place, it is really important we stay connected.

Monday, 24 August 2020 from 11:30-12:30
via Zoom –  a meeting link will be emailed out before the meeting.

RSVP to Lauren Bannerman.
