Synapse Reconnections WA for Family, Friends, Carers – October 2022

This Reconnections meet up is for the loved ones of people living with a brain injury to connect with other family members, friends and carers.

This will be an opportunity for you to share some of your challenges, your victories, your tips and tricks.

Learn from other people’s stories and hear about different experiences of brain injury and issues that are important to you. You will be in a supportive space with people who understand.

Light refreshments will be provided at the face-to-face meet ups however you are welcome to bring your own lunch if you would like to. There is a bus stop out the front of the venue on Sandgate St. Free parking onsite.

Guest Speaker: Michelle Nunn

We will play the 1st of a 2 part series by Michelle Nunn (OP OT SABIR unit) presenting information on the impacts on executive functioning (eg: impulsivity, planning, problem solving, organising, memory, attention, fatigue management and stress management) from acquiring a brain injury and possible support strategies.
