Synapse Reconnections WA – November 2022

Reconnections WA meet-ups are for people with brain injury living in WA to connect with other individuals living with brain injury.

These groups will provide the opportunity to chat and share some of your challenges, victories, and tips & tricks. Come and learn from other people’s stories and hear about different experiences of brain injury and issues that are important to you. You will be in a supportive space with people who understand. We look forward to seeing you.

Location (online): Via Microsoft Teams. This link will also be sent closer to the date

Guest Speaker: Michelle Nunn (Outpatient OT State ABI Rehab unit) will present information on the impacts on executive functioning (eg: impulsivity, insight, planning, problem solving, organising, memory, attention and stress management) from acquiring a brain injury and possible support strategies.

These meet ups will be monthly, alternating between online only, and a combination of face-to-face and online. The face-to-face meetings will be accessible online for those that can’t get to the venue.

Light refreshments will be provided at the face-to-face meet ups however you are welcome to bring your own lunch. There is a bus stop out the front of the venue on Sandgate St.
