Help support Lisa Cox fund raise for those affected by ABI

I'm trying to raise $1 for every continuous hour I spent in hospital, the first time, after my brain haemorrhage (it was over a year if you're doing the maths and I've spent thousands more hours there since).

I'm extremely grateful for the ongoing support of amazing family, friends and medical professionals. This is my way of paying it forward.

Please help me raise funds and awareness for Synapse and all the different types of Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).

Brain Injury Network Meeting (Brisbane)

The Brisbane Brain Injury Network Meeting runs quarterly and is a great opportunity for services supporting or interacting with people who have Acquired Brain Injuries to network and interact with one another.

We have now set up a page on our website for posting and sharing of information, presentations and outcomes from the meetings... check it out and see what we've been up to.

Grab your Entertainment Book now!!

Synapse is pleased to be selling the Entertainment Book to help raise funds towards accommodation for young people and educational resources for families.

Public Advocate - Call for Submissions: People with Disability in Long-Stay Health Care Facilities

• Whether the support needs of individuals are being met;
• The immediate and future support needs of individuals;
• Whether the support needs of these individuals could be better met in community‐based living and the factors that should be considered in making this determination; and
• The issues that should be taken into account to support successful transition from institutional to community‐based living, where appropriate.
