I lost my mother and my brother in this car accident. It has been very frustrating because due to this brain injury I suffered memory loss from about 10 years before this accident up until maybe two to three years after the accident. I can mostly remember memories about my mother but I have very little memory of my brother, who was six years younger than me, and the time that he played a big role in my life I have not a lot of memory of. Since my brain injury I am more open minded. With more of an understanding of the people around me, I have started to accept other people's feelings and emotions. Before this accident I feel that I was, in a way, narrow minded. This image was taken by Lynette Letic as part of a university photography project.
