September - October

Brain Injury Network – Southeast QLD

Join us for an interactive, hands-on event and build new connections!

We will share some of the ways we all support people living with brain injury in their transition from hospital to home, and improve access to services through the strengthening of support networks.

We will hear from Synapse’s Julian Saavedra about his personal journey transitioning from hospital to home, learning through his experiences both how existing support pathways are working, and where pathways into community supports can be strengthened

We will also be joined by Harry White, an experienced exercise physiologist from Be Physiology, as he presents on the effects of brain injury, and strategies to support people to connect back into community during their rehab journey.

Further information:

Support networks are integral in the journey from hospital to home and community, and this transition looks different for each person. For people living with brain injury, building this network can have unique barriers.

Join us on October 22nd as we strengthen our connections to communities, each other and the interconnected ways we each play our part in helping people impacted by brain injury, improving available supports for people impacted by brain injury.
