Synapse Perth Reconnections – March

Synapse Reconnections

Date: Friday 8th March 2024
Time: 11am – 1pm
Location: Belmont Hub; 213 Wright St, Belmont.

About the event

Come and join our March meetup for people impacted by brain injury.

Reconnections groups provide those impacted by brain injury the opportunity to chat, provide support, education, and share some challenges, victories, as well as tips & tricks.

Come and hear other people’s stories and learn about different experiences of brain injury and issues that are important to you. You will be in a supportive space with people who understand.

Reconnections are held monthly and are accessible online (via MS Teams) for those unable to get to the venue. (except special events)

Guest Speaker:  Sandra Norman, Education Officer from SECCA (Sexuality, Education, Counselling and Consultancy Agency) will speak about relationships, and sexual education. SECCA was established in 1991 after a small group of professionals identified a gap in sexual health support for people with disabilities. SECCA supports people with disabilities and their family, friends, and significant carers, with their sexual health and well-being. Followed by a cuppa, chat and catch up.

Come, join us and connect with others living with a brain injury. Carers, families, and partners are also welcome.
