We recently partnered with the government-funded initiative Healthdirect Australia to provide quality brain injury information and advice to people across Australia.

Healthdirect Australia is a federally-funded service, providing quality, evidence-based health information and advice to people across Australia.

Their website offers a symptoms checker, national health service directory and a comprehensive library of health resources – to which we have recently contributed brain injury specific information.

Our CEO Jennifer Cullen said, “We are delighted that Healthdirect Australia asked us to be an information partner. This means we can provide their audience with high quality information on brain injury.”

We know how important it is to provide the information people need when they’ve been impacted by brain injury and believe that many more Australians will benefit from accessing this through the Healthdirect website.

Our partnership with them as an information partner means we can provide their audience with high quality information on brain injury with links to resources such as the Synapse factsheets in our Brain Injury Information Hub.

The factsheets cover a wide range of topics including rehabilitation, relationships, and returning to study or work and were created by specialists for individuals, families and carers.

We’re in good company too, with other Healthdirect Australia information partners including Carers Australia, Beyond Blue, headspace, Lifeline, and the Stroke Foundation.
