Entry Requirements
- To enter, take a photo of a participating landmark Australia lit up in purple and/or gold during Brain Injury Awareness Week 2025 (BIAW).
- Submit your photo(s) in one of the following ways:
- Post to your public social media account (Instagram or Facebook) with the hashtag #BIAW2025 and tag @Synapse_aus.
- If you do not use social media, email your entry to marketing@synapse.org.au with your name and the location of the photo.
- You may submit multiple entries, but each entrant is only eligible to win one prize.

Entry Conditions
- Entries must be submitted during Brain Injury Awareness Week, from Monday 18 August 2025 to Sunday 24 August 2025.
- Photos must be original work, taken by the entrant.
- No AI-generated images or heavily manipulated/composited images will be accepted.
- Entries must not infringe on any third-party rights, including copyright, privacy, or other intellectual property rights.
- Entrants must ensure that photography is taken respectfully and legally—do not trespass or breach public safety rules to get your photo.

Judging and Prizes
- The Synapse Australia marketing team will judge all eligible entries and select the top 3 based on creativity, visual impact, and alignment with the BIAW theme.
- Each winner will receive a $100 voucher (choice of Bunnings or Harvey Norman at Synapse’s discretion).
- Winners will be notified via direct message or email by Friday 29 August 2025.
- Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

Other Conditions
- By entering, you grant Synapse Australia a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your photo for promotional purposes (with credit) in digital and print formats.
- Synapse Australia reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet these Terms and Conditions.
- This competition is open to Australian residents only. Entrants under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian.
- This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
